CALGARY — Manufacturing sales in Alberta and across Canada edged down in March, according to Statistics Canada.

The federal agency reported Wednesday that sales in Alberta of $6.2 billion were down 0.7 per cent from the previous month and they were off 2.0 per cent from a year ago.
