Alberta manufacturing sales reach $6.5 billion

CALGARY — Manufacturing sales in Alberta rose by 1.9 per cent to $6.5 billion in August, according to Statistics Canada.

The federal agency reported Wednesday that sales were also up 8.0 per cent year-over-year in the province.
