(Red Deer, Alberta) – The value of building permits issued by The City of Red Deer for the first four months of 2014 is 25 per cent behind values for the same time frame last year. April 2014 saw permit values at $13,865,357, a decline of $19,293,697 from the same period last year, with the majority of the difference being two large permits issued in April 2013 totaling over $17 million.
