CALGARY — The estimated value of building permits in March in Calgary reached $476.7 million, up 25 per cent from a year ago.

The City of Calgary says the increase in value is due to the residential sector which rose by 56 per cent to $341.6 million while the non-residential sector fell by 18 per cent to $135.1 million.
