Changes debated for Twin River rangeland area

The provincial government announced Friday that it will be holding public consultations for the next 30 days on a proposal to reclassify and expand the Twin River Heritage Rangeland Natural Area. The natural area, which is largely made up of Crown lease land, is located about 10 kilometres west of the Town of Milk River. Under the new proposal, the government would increase protections while allowing current grazing activities to continue.
