EDMONTON – The city will speed up demolition of Coronation arena to make way for a planned recreation centre with an indoor cycling track.

The one-sheet rink will come down as part of construction expected to start in 2015 if funding is approved, rather than in a future second phase, council’s community services committee decided Tuesday.
