This past September, the provincial government announced it preferred to see a south diversion to mitigate the impact of future flooding in the Town of High River. Since then, two southern diversion options have been identified – a natural floodway enhancement proposed by the Town of High River and a diversion which would involve building a dry storage dam on the Little Bow River.
