I should have guessed something was amiss when I saw that pile of rotting apples on the driveway. The stench of old food assaulted my nostrils as I stepped inside the dim atrium, but I still didn’t turn around. Instead, I took the coffin-elevator up to the darkened hall of horrors on the 10th floor. But that’s not the scary part of this story!
