Edmonton city crews promise to finish north extension of LRT line to NAIT by next spring

As construction ramps up in downtown Edmonton this summer to finish the North LRT to NAIT line, officials are promising the work will be less of a traffic headache for motorists.

The 3.3-km light rail extension that links Churchill Station to both Grant MacEwan University and NAIT is on the home stretch and will be ready for passengers by next spring, said Project Manager Brad Smid.
