Local unemployment continues dropping as Alberta’s unemployment rate at its lowest since 2015

The unemployment rate in the census region covering Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo and Cold Lake was 5.6 per cent for April, according to data released by Statistics Canada. This is down from 6.1 per cent in March and 7.8 per cent in April 2021.
