Council chambers had an underlying tension to them as the candidates in attendance awaited the results of the election, which came to the surface as staff came down to post the results for all to see. The results, Jeff Genung is now Cochrane’s mayor with council consisting of Morgan Nagel, Tara McFadden, Marni Fedeyko, Susan Flowers, Patrick Wilson and Alex Reed.
