The standoff between Canadian oil producers and environmentalists, aboriginals and NIMBYs opposed to new oil pipelines is about to get a lot more dangerous: Shipments of oil by rail from Western Canada are expected to more than triple in the next two years, according to a new forecast by the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
