Although not hit as hard as neighbouring communities Okotoks continues to deal with flood conditions with the raging Sheep River wiping out power lines, washing out rail tracks and taking down trees.

Crews called in by CP Rail worked overnight Friday to stabilize two areas along the Sheep River, where rail beds were being swept away.
