For Martin Ebel, joining the County of Lethbridge staff as the new economic development officer provides him with a new career challenge.

It is also a first for the county which previously partnered with the City of Lethbridge through Economic Development Lethbridge. When county council voted in favour of hiring its own economic development officer, the hiring process led to Ebel joining the staff.
