Rich Vesta picked up his first butcher’s knife at the age of 14.

Now, after 47 years in the meat industry, he’s preparing to be the newest owner of a state-of-the-art facility in East Balzac that was intended to be a life force in Rocky View County (RVC) when it first opened its doors in 2006.
