Red Deer city council will consider a 4.75 per cent tax rate increase for residential, multi-family and non-residential properties on Monday.
If the motion is approved, a homeowner would pay $57 more annually to $2,607 (from $2,550 in 2012) on their tax bill on a home assessed at $300,000.
