A municipal approval for $12 million worth of work at Quinn Pumps’ premises in Riverside Heavy Industrial Park helped boost the City of Red Deer’s building permit values in May to $30.1 million. But that tally still came up short of the $33.2 million worth of permits issued by the city in the same month of 2012.
