Restoring Calgary parks could take years

They’re some of the most picturesque areas in the city, but when the Bow and Elbow rivers surged over their banks during the June floods, dozens of Calgary parks and nearly 100 kilometres of pathway were inundated with water, silt, downed trees and other debris. Some pedestrian bridges were washed away, as were stretches of the riverside pathways.
