Spirit Airlines made its debut at Missouri’s Kansas City International Airport on Thursday, launching nonstop service on five routes. The self-described “ultra low-cost carrier” is now flying from Kansas City to Chicago O’Hare, Dallas, Detroit, Houston and Las Vegas.
