New Facebook page, Vintage Edmonton, showcases old school pictures and postcards of famous Edmonton landmarks

Edmontonians can now take a glance and re-live their city’s past through a new Facebook page entitled ‘Vintage Edmonton’, which shares old-school photos of many famous landmarks.

The creator of the page, Ryan Gagne, 29, was born in Edmonton but moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, when he was young.

He created a page for Moncton ‘by accident’, he says, in 2011. He originally posted a picture of a well-known bridge in Moncton known as the “Rat Hole,” which was painted bright pink in the late ’80s.
