Nearly a quarter of Albertans have assets abroad

CALGARY — Nearly one-quarter of Albertans, more than the national average, have assets abroad, according to a survey released Thursday by BMO Harris Private Banking.

According to the study, 24 per cent of Albertans, compared with 19 per cent of Canadians, have assets abroad including: vacation home/second property; bank account; investments; other real estate holdings; and business holdings.
