CALGARY — Sales of wine, beer and spirits are on track to hit a record high this holiday season and on an annual basis, according to BMO Capital Markets Economics.
The pickup comes as the economy continues to improve and wine and beer producers continue to make new inroads with consumers, it said.

EDMONTON – Albertans spent more than $2.1 billion on alcohol last year, more than $100 million above the previous year’s sales.
