EDMONTON – Oilsands work camps cost Alberta millions of dollars in lost taxes, says the director of government relations for the regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

The province should work to reduce fly-in work camps, the costs of which companies deduct as business expenses before paying royalties, said Mike Evans.
