EDMONTON – Starting in June, passengers will be able to fly directly from Fort McMurray to Denver, Colo., as part of the first scheduled non-stop passenger service from the northern Alberta city to the United States.
“The service is the culmination of 18 months of discussions with United to introduce this service to Fort McMurray,” said Scott Clements, the chief executive and president of the Fort McMurray Airport Authority. “This flight places us on the world map, making it easier for visitors to travel to the region while benefiting residents destined to the U.S. and other international destinations.”
