The Alberta government says the German multinational engineering and electronics giant, Siemens, will establish its Canadian energy headquarters in Calgary.
The province says in a release that the headquarters will manage Siemens’ Canadian energy business portfolio, including renewable energy and clean technologies.

Canadian energy company Black Pearl Resources has awarded engineering contracts to Calgary-based engineering firm Projex to develop an 80,000 barrel per day in-situ project in Alberta.

Northern Lakes College in Peace River is one step closer to bringing a power engineering steam lab to reality.
The College announced last week (Nov. 8) that Penn West Exploration, a Calgary- based company that is one of the largest oil and natural gas producers in Canada, donated $100,000 towards the construction of a lab – part of the college’s Peace River Regional Power Engineering Project.
