City in top ranks in entrepreneurial strength

Red Deer climbed to sixth spot out of 100 Canadian cities in the Communities in Boom Top Entrepreneurial cities study. The study was released by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB), and looks at a wide range of indicators for the small business and entrepreneur environment in cities with populations over 25,000.

GP snags top spot among entrepreneurial cities

Bring your business ideas and down payments to Grande Prairie, indicates a new study – the city remains the best bet in Canada for a startup.

For the third year running,Grande Prairie came out first nationally for most entrepreneurial city in a survey by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). Very close on its heals was Saskatoon, with Lloydminster,Red Deer,Edmonton and Lethbridge joining the top ten.

Lethbridge is 9th most entrepreneurial city in Canada

Lethbridge was recently ranked by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business as the 9th most entrepreneurial city in Canada.

CFIB released last Friday their 2012 Communities in Boom – Top Entrepreneurial Cities in Canada report. Lethbridge’s ranking results were actually identical to Edmonton’s, which means Lethbridge is effectively tied for 8th place.

Red Deer should be high on your list, based on a study by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. The national business organization released its annual Communities in Boom: Canada’s Top Entrepreneurial Cities report on Monday. It included a ranking of 103 cities with populations greater than 25,000, and Red Deer was sixth on the list.  READ
