A final agreement between the City of Medicine Hat and the Box Springs Business Park Group to locate the proposed Event Centre on the development group’s land is in the final stages of completion and could be signed next week, according to BSBP spokesman John Hashem.

City of St. Albert staff and representatives of the development industry need more time to hash out a new plan for offsite levies, city council heard Monday.
City staff came before council at their regular meeting Monday to give a report on progress of meetings with the Urban Development Institute to figure out a new framework for offsite levies, which he said was going slower than expected.
