Plans unveiled for north end of Muskoseepi Park

The design for the next phase of Muskoseepi Park has been unveiled, showing the city’s green space extending north of 116 Avenue starting next year.

The park’s operations manager Laurie Barry showcased the updated plan to members of the city’s 100th anniversary committee on Tuesday. It will include a winding walking path heading north from Centre 2000 under the 116 Avenue bridge by way of a wooden boardwalk, and giving way to green space at the bypass and 108 Street.

At that site, across west of Kal Tire, a gravel parking lot will be built along with an entrance to the park.
