STONY PLAIN – The Town of Stony Plain Council has unanimously approved the Stony Plain Fire Department Operational Plan Implementation Report.

The fire department will receive one full time firefighter in each of the next three years and additional ones in 2013 and 2015. The Town allotted the funds for the extra firefighters in the budget for both of those years. The 2013 budget has allocated $78,500 for the new fire fighters coming into the detachment.
