CALGARY — Midstream provider Keyera Corp. said Monday it will spend $210 million to renovate its Simonette gas plant and expand its northwestern Alberta gathering area.

The plan is backed by Calgary-based producer NuVista Energy Ltd., which has agreed to a 10-year deal to supply between 35 and 65 million cubic feet per day of raw natural gas production from its Wapiti Montney wells starting in the second quarter of 2014.
