The Bank of Montreal will open tiny branches with a handful of employees giving “face-to-face” information on topics such as mortgages, with most customers now banking online.

At least one city councillor is ready to support a proposal to allow Internet voting in next October’s civic election.
That proposal will hit council’s desk Wednesday and could see Edmontonians voting with the click of a mouse in the future.
“I like anything that can get people motivated to vote,” said Coun. Kerry Diotte. “I’ll certainly listen to any questions and concerns but I’m happy to see this move forward.”

Calgary Regional Partnership (CRP) member municipalities have a new tool for attracting site selectors and investors.
Staff at the CRP, made up of 14 member municipalities, including Calgary, Airdrie and Cochrane, has created the GIS Program for Regional Asset Inventory.
