The third quarter of 2012 for Fort Saskatchewan saw a mix of exciting infrastructure announcements — some that would later be squashed.

The final quarter of 2012 — October throughout December — proved to be one of the busiest times of the year, as much work was done through Fort Saskatchewan, including both industrial progression (and recession), as well as much in local government.
The Record went through changes of its own, as well, with Ben Proulx coming in as the new editor, the paper taking on a new look, the website (fortsaskatchewanrecord.com) taking a more local focus, and new features added, such as the Tweets of the Week area on Page 7.
