At its Oct. 14 regular meeting, Peace River town council passed a motion to provide $56,000 for non-destructive testing on all the ski lifts at the Misery Mountain Ski Area, which is a requirement of provincial regulations. They were also provided with $7,950 for the T-bar repair. A request from the Peace River Ski Club for an additional $50,000 for operational expenses was not approved at the meeting.
