Trades Alberta: Bold approach helps northern Alberta welding shop thrive

EDMONTON – One of the first things that stands out about Hell ‘N’ Back Industries, a welding and manufacturing shop located in the northern Alberta village of Nampa, is the company’s logo.

It’s on the sign outside the 2,415-square-metre shop, located south of Peace River. Inspired by pin-up and Second World War bomber art, the logo shows a scantily clad woman with a devil’s tail, bright red lipstick visible behind her lifted welding mask.
