CALGARY — The Trans Mountain pipeline project from Edmonton to Burnaby, B.C., is being upsized by $1.3 billion and 140,000 barrels per day.
Project proponent Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P., said Thursday the higher volumes are justified by long-term contracts that bring the total volume by 13 committed shippers to 708,000 bpd.
