An old saying goes, “You can’t waste a day when the night brings a hearse.” Bill Chapman, president of the Highway 3 Twinning Development Association, says for economic development reasons, for reasons of need due to increasingly heavy truck traffic between local communities, and for the sake of public safety, it’s time for the provincial government to move the yardsticks on getting Hwy. 3 twinned; and his organization is proposing a cost-effective way to do just that.
