Over the course of the last week, the various authorities involved in the Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir have been hosting a series of information sessions on the project, with one more to follow in Calgary next week. At last Tuesday’s meeting, the majority of the 40 people in attendance voiced a preference for the other top contender for Elbow River flood mitigation: a dam further upstream at McLean Creek.
