Following debate over multiple council sessions and a public hearing with greater-than-usual engagement, council has approved the rezoning of a parcel of land on First Street in Cochrane’s East End. The decision removes a significant hurdle for the landowner as they move to develop a commercial health centre on the property and two other adjacent ones.
