Question: Our condominium complex is self-managed. A year ago, we had an insurance claim for an alleged “slip and fall” incident. The person who fell filed a law suit against our condominium corporation and is also related to a board member of our complex. This person is also actively moving around the complex, often doing odd jobs for the corporation. Is it a conflict of interest to be employed by the corporation to carry out odd jobs, while being actively engaged in litigation against the corporation? Please help!
