Edmonton-area Ford dealers band together to find skilled workers, like mechanics

EDMONTON – They still compete for customers, but eight Edmonton-region Ford dealers are co-operating when it comes to hiring mechanics.

Struggling to find trained automotive technicians and other scarce workers in a hot labour market, the dealerships have launched a collective recruiting campaign — Edmonton Ford Hires.
