This inner-west neighbourhood of Leichhardt used to centre on all things Italian, but although the suburb centre was officially renamed Little Italy in 2020, there are three times more locals with English ancestry and Norton Street’s restaurants have evolved from being predominantly Italian to a broad mix of cuisines.
