A proposal to build 16 single-story, semi-detached housing units on a four-acre site commonly known as the ‘Jones Estate’ was effectively voted down by Cochrane town council last month. Officially called ‘Glenvista Peak’, the site is the last remaining undeveloped parcel in the Gleneagles community.
