Medicine Hat College has squeaked by with a barely balanced budget following provincial funding cuts.

“When you’re looking at a $53-million budget, $30,000 is not much of a cushion so to speak, but none the less we’re balanced,” said MHC president Ralph Weeks, following the board of Governors approval of the 2013-14 budget Tuesday.
