In 2024, Airdrie experienced rapid expansion, which put pressure on schools, housing, and healthcare systems. Despite significant investments to tackle these challenges, Angela Pitt, MLA for Airdrie-East, acknowledges that the city still has hurdles to overcome as it grows.
