Two municipal audits of Fort McMurray’s economic development group found no instances of fraud or missing money, but multiple examples of ignoring financial procedures and problems with travel, alcohol and travel expenses. But Wood Buffalo Economic Development Corp. (WBEDC) now has a second chance to prove its value after council rejected a motion to dissolve the group at their Tuesday meeting.
