A Calgary-based organization wants to make everyday errands like grocery shopping or visiting the bank easier for people with vanishing cognitive abilities by creating Alberta’s first “dementia-friendly” communities in the southwest Calgary neighbourhood of Signal Hill and the nearby town of Okotoks.
