Calgary’s elected officials voted late Monday to proceed with the first stage of the Green Line LRT, a 20-kilometre route that will stretch from Crescent Heights to Shepard and cost $4.65 billion — a price tag that doesn’t include millions of dollars in annual debt servicing.
