A new 10-year agreement between the City of Airdrie and ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd. was given first reading by council April 3. The agreement allows ATCO Gas to provide a gas utility service within the municipality and bars the city from entering into a similar agreement with a competitor for the length of the term.
