The City of Medicine Hat recently hired Stantec Consulting to complete the Downtown Design Inventory Project. The intent of the project was to give downtown business owners some free design advice as they undertake renovations to their businesses. Robert Sissons, superintendent of planning for the city, says council wants to ensure the downtown has a cohesiveness to it after the renovations are complete.
