My partner and I have been looking for a house to buy for a few months now and have recently seen a listing come on to the market that’s advertised as a mortgagee sale. It sounds like it might go for a bit of a bargain, but she’s concerned that buying by mortgagee sale is a bit dodgy. Is this actually something to worry about?
